So I happen to stumble in this site, Coverlandia (a place for official and fan covers), the other day but didn’t got the chance to explore it. This afternoon, I managed to visit the site and learned about the Katy Perry Contest. With the release of her sophomore album, Teenage Dream, this site is offering a contest of making a great cover art with her new album.  The winner will receive the UK Limited Collector’s Edition of “Teenage Dream.” See more details here.

I wanna join!!! But I don’t have the enough skills though. lol.

Anyway, here are the sample fan covers for Teenage Dream that I like:

• This one shows a vintage cover of Katy Perry. I really love the banner which reads “Teenage Dream.” The texts fit on the vintage-y feel of the cover.

• This one’s my ultimate fave! Yeah, it’s simple. And I like it because of its simplicity. I like how this one experimented with the hues.

• A modified art of her pic from her California Gurls music video. Can really make a great alternative cover for her single Teenage Dream anytime.

• Shows the ever-gorgeous and sexy Katy Perry. She seems more like a goddess in this cover than just Maxim’s no. 1! I love the every detail in this cover art.

Although the first cover on the left is the cover art for Katy Perry’s single “Teenage Dream,” I really wish it was also the cover art of her album. I don’t like the album cover (right) much, because it doesn’t even have text or title!! But still, I’m happy that Katy Perry had released her newest album.
